Access description (ALT)
A phonemic chart with two main sections labeled "vowels" and "consonants." The vowels are further classified into monophthongs and diphthongs. Each phoneme is represented by its International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) symbol, a keyword to aid pronunciation, and color-coded boxes indicating voiced (yellow) and unvoiced (gray) sounds. The consonants section includes examples such as 'p' for 'pea,' 'f' for 'fly,' and 'm' for 'man.' The chart also notes it's based on Received Pronunciation and is an adaptation of the popular Adrian Underhill layout.
