Access description (ALT)
An image depicts the side of a tan-colored building with the words “Power Generation” written in black across its face. Taken on the campus where the artworks will be exhibited, this image invites reflection on the multiple meanings of “generation”—not only as the production of electrical power but also as a concept linked to biopower, where control is exercised over bodies and populations. The building thus stands as a symbol connecting industrial energy systems to broader structures of social regulation and the management of life itself.
